Garrett began his professional career photographing big-name musicians as a teen. As his reputation and success grew, his repertoire expanded to include portrait, event and advertising photography. Along the way he studied with renowned German photographer Heinz Richter who proclaimed Garrett "one of the most accomplished photographers" he has known.
